Chocolate Lactation Smoothie

I struggled with finding a lactation smoothie that both tasted good and helped boost my milk supply. So I (kinda) created my own! I used a protein shake base that I was already used to drinking, and built upon it by adding ingredients proven to help boost supply. Just like with my cookie recipe, I…

Breastfeeding Tips & Tricks

If you are having a hard time breastfeeding let me first say this, DON’T GIVE UP! I gave birth to my daughter at 32 weeks. Breastfeeding a preemie is arguably one of the hardest things to face as a mother. They are tinier, more fragile, and less likely to latch on correctly (although that was…

Any amount of milk you pump is normal. I’ve pumped anywhere from less than an ounce to over 5 ounces in one session. Don’t let Tiktok and IG fool you. You don’t need to be pumping 8+ ounces every time. If you’re an oversupplier that’s great! But don’t stress yourself out if you’re only pumping a few ounces each session. #pumping #pumpingmom #liquidgold #breastmilk #breastmilksupply #breastfeeding #pumpingtips #breastfeedingtips #breastfeedingjourney

I doubled my milk supply by doing these three things! 1. Homemade chocolate/banana smoothie with milk boosting ingredients 2. Using a handsfree pump to minimize stress (and wires) to go about my business 3. Pump often, during nursing sessions and mini power pumps in between nursing sessions I did this for almost two days and got a huge boost in my supply! Disclaimer: This is not medical advice, just what worked for me. Please reach out to an IBCLC if you have additional questions, as I am not yet certified. Please don’t attempt to boost your supply if you have enough milk! I have just enough to feed my baby and was looking for a quick boost to start a stash at home for my husband to feed him while I’m out. #breastfeedingisnatural #breastfeedingtips #breastfeedingmoms #breastfeeding #pumpingmom #pumpingtips
